Xylella Statement

You may be aware that importing olive trees comes with a range of restrictions due to the risk of Xylella.

Xyella Fastidiosa is a bacterial disease that can affect a range of plants including olives. Strict regulations have been put in place by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) to ensure the disease is not passed through to the UK.

We have hand selected our gnarled olives from certified growers in Spain who have been checked by DEFRA and confirmed as Xyella free.

You can buy with confidence knowing that our plants have been approved by DEFRA and licensed with a passport number allowing them to be traced right back to the grower.
