Hydrangea anomala petiolaris is a deciduous flowering vine commonly known as the climbing hydrangea. The leaves are dark green, glossy, and heart-shaped. The flowers are white, fragrant, and appear in large clusters, called corymbs, during late spring and early summer. It can climb up to 80 ft and needs support to grow vertically, such as a trellis, fence, or wall.
