Trachycarpus Fortunei
Commonly know as Chusan palm or Chinese windmill palm, Trachycarpus Fortunei is a dioecious evergreen palm with a fiber-covered trunk bearing deeply divided, fan-shaped dark green leaves to 1m in width, large arching sprays of small, light yellow flowers.
Ideal for British gardens as it is a very hardy palm, tolerant to -10 degrees celsius.
