Thuja plicata 'Martin'
Thuja commonly known as Western Red Cedar is a popular alternative to Leylandii. Thuja boasts dark green sharply pointed leaves held in drooping sprays and red-brown bark. Although it is slower growing than Leylandii it is often a much bushier plant.
Grows well in most soil conditions, avoid planting in water-logged soil.
