Magnolia grandiflora, commonly known as the Southern Magnolia or Bull Bay, is a tree of the family Magnoliaceae native to the southeastern United States. It is a large, rounded evergreen bush with glossy dark green, leathery leaves, often rusty-brown beneath, and highly fragrant, cup-shaped, cream flowers to 25cm across in late summer and autumn. Ideal to add some subtle colour to any outdoor space.
